Dedicated to Helping the Visually Impaired Achieve Self-Sufficiency

The Eastside Center for the Blind, a nonprofit organization, assists blind and visually impaired adults achieve independence and self-reliance by providing classes in independent living and prevocational services free of charge.
Classes include the following: job-seeking skills, computer training, iPhone, iPad, English as a second language, reading and writing braille, adjustment to blindness classes, home-making skills, and personal correspondence.
Workshops on a variety of subjects and resources are offered as well. Classes are held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
